This retreat, led by Gen Kelsang Tharpa, will be based on the empowerment and commentaries of 1000-armed Avalokiteshvara, given during the NKT-IKBU Spring Festival 2013. It is a precious opportunity to deepen our compassion and enhance our understanding of the practice of this special Buddha.
Gen Kelsang Tharpa is a close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been teaching Kadam Dharma for over 30 years. He is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Spain. He is known for his great ability to clearly convey the profound Buddhist teachings as the path of wisdom and compassion.

Trip to Moosalp (mountain viewpoint)
The retreat finishes at Monday lunchtime. After the event there is the possibility to join us for a walk to the nearby Moosalp, with a picnic and maybe with some medtitations. This trip will only take place if weather permitted. Please contact us if you wish to book an extra night at Kailash IRC.
